Michael Skok, Director
North Bridge Venture Partners
Michael Skok joined North Bridge Venture Partners in 2002. Prior to this, Michael had been an entrepreneur and CEO in the enterprise software business for over 20 years. Michael founded, led and attracted over $100M in private equity to his investments in several successful software companies ranging from CAD/CAM, Document Management, Workflow, Imaging and Collaboration, Security to Analytics and spanning the Mini Computer, Workstation, PC, Client Server and Internet eras. Six of these companies were successfully acquired by Siebel, Platinum, Filenet, Banyan and IBM and two went Public, including Symantec for whom he built Symantec UK into their most profitable international business. Michael has served on many private and public company boards as well as supported various software industry groups such as the Software Publishers Association where he was Chairman for a number of years in Europe. He is currently active on the boards of all his recent investments in North Bridge Venture Partners portfolio companies. Michael is a graduate of Nottingham University in the United Kingdom where he was awarded joint honors in Management Sciences and Engineering.
David J. Orfao, Director
General Catalyst Partners
As a Managing Director of General Catalyst Partners, David concentrates on deployment infrastructure, tools, application development and packaged applications within the enterprise software sector with a general interest in creating new methods of distributing software IP, such as open source and software on-demand, among other areas. Prior to joining General Catalyst, David held the positions of President, CEO or Senior VP of Sales, Operations or Marketing for four publicly held companies. Most recently, David led Allaire Corporation from 1997 to 2000 as President, CEO and Board Member. During his tenure, Allaire grew from a venture-backed start up to a $119M public corporation trading on the NASDAQ. The company pioneered the Internet Application Server market with industry leading products such as ColdFusion and JRUN. In January of 2001, Allaire merged with MacroMedia Corporation and continues to be a leading Internet software company. He earned a B.A. in Business and Accounting from Norwich University of Vermont.
Billy Marshall, Founder and CEO
Prior to founding rPath, Billy served as Red Hat’s Vice President of North America Sales from 2001 until 2005. Under his leadership, Red Hat’s enterprise business experienced extraordinary growth. Prior to his sales position, Billy conceived and oversaw the launch of Red Hat Network, the platform that enabled Red Hat’s subscription revenue model. Billy also worked in IBM Global Services where he worked with global leaders such as Boeing, Ford, Eaton, Mercedes Benz, and Raytheon. He began his career with General Electric where he held various production, supervisory, engineering and management positions with the Aerospace, Power Systems, and Motors divisions. Billy holds an Aerospace Engineering degree from Georgia Tech as well as MS degrees in Management and Engineering from MIT.

Erik Troan, Founder and CTO
Prior to founding rPath, Troan served in multiple roles at Red Hat including Vice President of Product Engineering for several years as well as the Senior Director of Marketing and chief developer for Red Hat Software. During his tenure with the company Troan was responsible for leading development for Red Hat Linux, RPM and Anaconda. He managed a multimillion-dollar budget, participated in two public stock offerings and assisted in acquiring and integrating nine other companies. Erik has coauthored two editions of Linux Application Development. At rPath he is responsible for all aspects of product design and implementation and for the company’s IT infrastructure. He holds BS degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Andrew Nash
Andrew Nash has a background rich in growing and transforming enterprise software and systems integration companies on a global basis over a period of over twenty years. Andrew is CEO of Novaroo, a privately held strategy and advisory services firm. Prior to Novaroo, Andrew served as Chief Operating Officer of BroadVision, where he led the turnaround of this publicly held software enterprise, restructuring and rebuilding the company on a global basis. Andrew previously served as Chairman and co-founder of Contentra and Chief Executive Officer of Collaborex, Inc. At Baan Company he served in multiple roles - Executive Vice President, Services and board member; President Baan Corporate Office Solutions and CEO, Coda. Prior to Baan, Andrew was a global managing partner and board of management member at Deloitte Consulting/ICS where he built and led the global Baan systems integration practice and commenced, built and led the Asia Pacific SAP systems integration practice. Andrew serves on the boards and advisory boards of multiple privately held technology companies. Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and Graduate Diploma in Computing from Chisholm Institute of Technology (now Monash University).
